Improving the Hander-Dog Relationship!
At Canine Relations, we believe that the key to the success of owning a happy and well-mannered dog is developing a balanced relationship between each handler in the household and the dog.
A balanced handler-dog relationship is based on mutual love and respect, and effective leadership from the handler.
To help our clients (handlers and dogs) develop such a relationship, Canine Relations offers Private Lessons, at your location or ours, and Board-Training services, which are provided in our trainer's home.
If we have trained you and your dog, Canine Relations also offers Home-Environment Boarding where your dog stays in the home of one of our trainers while you are away on vacation or business.
Please take some time and browse our website to learn more about us and the professional services that we provide. We look forward to working with you and your dog!

A balanced handler-dog relationship is based on mutual love and respect, and effective leadership from all handlers who interact with the dog.
To enable our clients (dogs and handlers) to obtain such a relationship, Canine Relations teaches the handler to understand what motivates a dog; an instinctual need to satisfy life-sustaining goals related to social, food, sex, defense, play, and prey drives, to mention a few.
We then teach the handler how to train or un-train behaviors using techniques that are founded on the fundamentals of learning and motivation, match the dog's temperament and the handler's preferences, and enable the dog to satisfy the life-sustaining goals that are vital to its existence.
